It's my last morning in Hawaii... very bittersweet. I will miss Derek like crazy, but I have 2 sweet little men at home who I miss terribly. It's hard to have your heart torn 2,500 miles apart. I've had a lot of fun here, and I'm hoping that my exercising and conscious eating will pay off. We will see tomorrow morning at Weight Watchers. I don't have a scale here to give me an idea of how I've been doing... blind faith on my abilities is all.
On Thursday, when Derek went to work, I went to the gym here in the hotel. The elliptical here sucks!!!! I busted out 60 minutes even though I hated every second of it. Friday morning, I woke up at ran 4.5 miles. We didn't do too much walking that day, just to the mall for dinner. On Saturday morning I rested up because we planned on hiking Diamond Head. Once we got to Diamond Head, it was packed... we decided to hit up Koko Head (click to get a good blog of the hike we did). It was intense to say the least. And that afternoon/night we walked a ton! Derek's pedometer said we walked around 12 miles the whole day. Sunday morning, I was tired... I opted out of a workout and decided to just relax. Monday morning I was up and running... I ran 4.91 miles! That is the farthest I've ran to date! I'm excited... I'm just that much closer to a 10k. Oh, and we walked a ton again lol.
So, this brings us to today... relaxing this morning until it's time to leave :( I'm really hoping for good numbers on the scale tomorrow and I'm hoping to be down 10 pounds from my WW start. I've already lost 10.4 pounds and 11 inches since I started!
